Huntsville International Airport receives $7 million FAA grant

Huntsville International Airport is receiving a $7 million federal grant for work on its terminal and concourse.

U.S. Rep. Dale Strong said the funding is from the Federal Aviation Administration Fiscal Year 2024 Airport Terminal Program. The grant will fund eligible portions of renovations at the airport such as the expansion of the concourse for new Americans with Disabilities Act compliant restrooms, a new nursing room, terminal escalators, and expansion of the terminal public area near the ticket counters, he said.
