Sales Representative – National Newspaper Publishers Association (NNPA)
About the Role:
The NNPA, the trusted voice of America’s Black Press for over 80 years, is seeking a dynamic and results-driven Sales Representative to help expand our advertising partnerships and revenue opportunities across our national network of African American-owned newspapers, digital platforms, and media channels.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and manage relationships with corporate, government, and nonprofit advertisers seeking to reach diverse audiences through the NNPA’s extensive media network.
- Identify new business opportunities and create customized multi-platform advertising proposals that align client goals with NNPA media assets.
- Collaborate with publishers, editorial, and marketing teams to ensure successful campaign execution and client satisfaction.
- Track performance metrics, maintain accurate sales forecasts, and meet or exceed revenue goals.
- Represent the NNPA at industry events, conferences, and client meetings to strengthen brand awareness and partnerships.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in media sales, advertising, or business development.
- Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to build trust and rapport with diverse clients.
- Understanding of multicultural marketing and the value of reaching Black communities through trusted media.
- Self-motivated, target-driven, and passionate about supporting the mission of the Black Press.
