Dr. Quinton Ross, president, Alabama State University

Miguel A. Cardona, Ed.D., U.S. Secretary of Education appointed Dr. Quinton Ross, president, Alabama State University, to serve as a member of the Historically Black Colleges and Universities Capital Financing Advisory Board (HBCUC- FAB).

The HBCUCFAB is established within the U.S.Department of Education to provide advice and counstthe Secretary and the Designated Bonding Authority (DBA) as to the most effective and efficient means of implementing construction financing on the campuses of HBCUs and to advise Congress regarding the progress made in implementing the Program.

Ross’s term of service will begin immediately and end on September 30, 2024 or per the Board’s authorizing legislation, a member may continue to serve after the expiration of a term until a successor is appointed.

Mr. Donald Watson, the Executive Director, and Designated Federal Official (DFO) for the HBCUCFAB will provide Ross with additional information regarding his appointment.
