After a brief separation, Judge Greg Mathis and his wife, Linda Mathis, are back together, ending their divorce proceedings and reaffirming their decades-long marriage.
Court records confirm that Linda Mathis has officially dismissed her divorce case, closing the legal chapter after the couple reconciled. The pair, who were married for 39 years, initially separated in July 2024, with Linda filing for divorce the following month, citing irreconcilable differences.
However, their time apart was short-lived. By November 2024, the couple reunited and began rebuilding their relationship. Both later shared their journey publicly, emphasizing the work and commitment it took to reconnect.
Judge Mathis reflected on the emotional impact of the separation, saying, “I’d do anything to get my mother back. So I did everything to get my wife back.” Linda Mathis added, “We learned from each other again. We enjoyed our time doing that each and every day.”
The dismissal of the case officially ends the divorce filing, allowing the couple to move forward together.
