Los Angeles Rams, Unify Financial Credit Union And City Year Los Angeles Team Up For Beautification Project At Woodworth-Monroe K-8 Academy In Inglewood

In partnership with UNIFY Financial Credit Union and City Year Los Angeles, the Los Angeles Rams are leading a school beautification project at Inglewood Unified School District’s Woodworth-Monroe K-8 Academy. During the event, Rams Cornerback DAVID LONG JR., Legend CHRIS DRAFT and volunteers will paint murals on campus to inspire students as they adjust to being back in the classroom following their transition from distance learning to in-person learning due to the pandemic.

Rep. Waters Secures $13,153,127 in Projects in California’s 43rd District

oday, Congresswoman Maxine Waters (D-CA), Chairwoman of the House Committee on Financial Services, announced the enactment of a government funding package that includes $13,153,127 in Community Project Funding that she secured for the 43rd district of California. This funding responds directly to some of the most pressing needs in the district.  The bill was signed into law by President Biden on March 15th after passing the House of Representatives on March 9th – with Congresswoman Waters’ vote – and passing the Senate the following day.
