Anne Arundel County, MD – Maryland Day Weekend, set for March 21-23, 2025, invites locals and visitors alike to celebrate all things Maryland with a diverse and engaging array of events across Anne Arundel County. This year’s theme, “Unity Through Community,” expresses the wide range of events that will bring people together to experience the rich cultural and historical stories of the area, from its iconic heritage sites to its vibrant community art centers.
The Chesapeake Crossroads Heritage Area, the lead organization in planning the weekend’s events, aims to highlight the historical and cultural legacy that has shaped the county and state during Maryland’s birthday celebration weekend.
“Each location welcomes visitors to learn about local stories and experiences from diverse communities that were originally connected by railroads and the Chesapeake Bay, yet they all weave together into the fabric that created the communities, county, and state we all call home,” says Erik Evans, Marketing Manager for Maryland Day. “With over 40 events spread across three days, Maryland Day weekend is a perfect opportunity to experience the rich stories of the people, land, and waters of Anne Arundel County.”
