The U.S. Army has awarded a $74.4 million contract modification to Intuitive Research and Technology Corp., increasing the total value of the Huntsville-based company’s contract, according to the Department of Defense.
The modification raises the contract ceiling and adjusts funding levels and labor hours to support current and future requirements for systems engineering and technical assistance. Specific work locations will be determined with each individual task order.
The contract is scheduled for completion on Sept. 26, 2026, with funding to be obligated incrementally as requirements are identified. The contracting activity is the Army Contracting Command, Aviation Logistics, located at Redstone Arsenal.
Founded in 1999, Intuitive Research and Technology Corp. is a Huntsville-based aerospace engineering and analysis firm that provides a range of technical services, including systems engineering, software development, rapid prototyping, and technical management.
The company supports the Department of Defense, other federal agencies, and commercial clients. Its areas of expertise include product life cycle support, cybersecurity, modeling and simulation, and advanced engineering solutions.
The contract increase underscores Huntsville’s continued role as a hub for defense and aerospace innovation, with local companies playing a key role in supporting Army and Department of Defense missions.
