Philadelphia Eagles wide receiver DeVonta Smith is ranked 10 spots higher in “The Top 100 NFL Players of 2024” than he was in “The Top 100 NFL Players of 2023.”

The NFL Network began to unveil its 14th annual poll of NFL players by releasing on Monday the No. 81 through No. 100 finishers in the voting for this season’s list of the best players in the league.

Smith came in at No. 90 in this year’s poll after the former Alabama All-American placed 100th in last year’s rankings.

Smith rose even though his stats declined slightly in 2023. In his second NFL season, Smith had 95 receptions for 1,196 yards and seven touchdowns in 17 regular-season games. In his third, Smith had 81 receptions for 1,066 yards and seven touchdowns in 16 regular-season games.

The 2020 Heisman Trophy winner, Smith has 240 receptions for 3,178 yards and 19 touchdowns since joining the Eagles as the 10th pick in the 2021 NFL Draft. No Philadelphia player has had as many receptions or as many receiving yards in the first three seasons of his career as Smith has had.

The countdown of “The Top 100 NFL Players of 2024” will continue 10 at a time at 11 a.m. CDT for the next seven weekdays on NFL+. The top 10 players will be revealed at 7 p.m. Aug. 2 on NFL Network.
