The historic Tip Top Cafe reopens in Huntsville, offering a renewed space for musicians and community gatherings.

HUNTSVILLE — The city’s vibrant music community is set to come together later this month as the Huntsville Music Office hosts its first Quarterly Music Meetup of 2026 at the newly reopened Tip Top Cafe.

The free event will take place on Tuesday, March 24, from 6 to 8 p.m. at the historic venue at 125 Maple Ave. NW, inviting local musicians, venue owners, industry professionals, and music enthusiasts to connect and collaborate.

Organizers say the meetup is designed to strengthen relationships across Huntsville’s growing music scene while providing updates on upcoming programs and initiatives.

2025 was a record-breaking year for the Huntsville Music Office,” said Music Officer Matt Mandrella. “In 2026, we’re focused on expanding the programs and events that continue to grow Huntsville’s music ecosystem.

The gathering also marks a special moment for the community, highlighting the revival of the Tip Top Cafe, a longtime cultural landmark that reopened after more than 20 years.

This is a great opportunity to see how the space has been modernized while still honoring its rich history,” Mandrella added.

The meetup will offer attendees a chance to network, share ideas, and learn about initiatives such as the Music Ambassador Program and the popular 805 After Five concert series.

With Huntsville’s music scene continuing to gain momentum, organizers encourage the community to attend and help shape its future.

Admission is free, with refreshments available for purchase.
