Khajal Ramey, the current Miss Vail Arizona USA 2024, comes from a family that has resided in the Vail-Tucson region for more then 15 years. After graduating from Empire High School, she continued her educa- tion at Arizona State University, earning a bachelor’s in human nutrition.

As the eldest daughter of two Air Force veterans, Ramey had the impor- tance and responsibility of community outreach instilled in her at an early age. Currently working as a health educator for the Rivkin Center, a 501(c)(3) non- profit organization, she remains committed to her core principle of uplifting women and communities to advocate and understand their bodies.

She believes her purpose in life is to help women and young girls feel their absolute best through health and fitness. Through her initiative, EmpowerHER!, Ramey has been able to further the reach of life-sustaining education nationally and internationally to women and young girls. She was fortunate to connect with more than 300 people in the village of Dawasamu, Fiji.

In 2019, she completed her first marathon, which was life-changing in regard to her confidence as a young woman. This experience led her to become a coach with Girls On The Run to continue encouraging the next generation of girls that they are strong and can accomplish their dreams with hard work and determination.

Ramey has immense pride and gratitude for growing up in Vail, choosing it as the place to represent at Miss Arizona USA.

She stated she “genuinely believes that in order for us to grow our communities we must pour into our communities.”

Ramey will participate in the prestigious Miss Arizona USA 2024 pageant May 26-27, at the Higley Center for the Performing Arts in GIlbert.
