West Mastin Lake Baptist Church held its 15th Annual Men’s Conference on Friday, August 9th, and Saturday, August 10th, 2024. The event featured prominent speakers and a strong turnout of men from Huntsville, Athens, and Decatur, AL, representing various church denominations.
The conference kicked off on Friday evening with Brother Malcolm Thomas, Chairman of the Board of Trustees at Phillips Christian Methodist Episcopal Church, delivering an inspiring message. The following morning, attendees heard from Rev. Leo Robinson, Chairman and Founder of Second Chance Restoration and Deliverance Organization. Both days included workshops facilitated by Deacon Charlie Miller of Lakewood Baptist Church.
This year’s conference theme, “Encouraging Christian Men to Be Good Soldiers,” was anchored in 2 Timothy 2:4. The West Mastin Lake Baptist Church Men’s Chorus provided uplifting music throughout the event.
West Mastin Lake Baptist Church, under the leadership of Pastor Willie L. Hinton, Sr., is located at 4705-A Mastin Lake Road in Huntsville.
