HUNTSVILLE, Ala. (Feb., 25, 2025)— On Tuesday, April 22, 2025, Village of Promise will host its signature event, Speaker Series 2025. Speaker Series provides a stage for national thought leaders to share their insight with the Huntsville community on innovative solutions for addressing generational poverty and overcoming challenges for generations to come.
Last year, more than 700 community guests experienced this impactful event with astronaut, Dr. Mae Jemison as the guest speaker. This year’s event theme is “Power Forward Through Education” and Village of Promise is proud to announce their guest speaker this year is Nate Oats, University of Alabama Men’s Basketball Head Coach.
“We invite you to join us for Speaker Series 2025 for an evening of impact and inspiration” said Village of Promise CEO, Dana M. Gillis. “Come and experience remarks by Coach Nate Oats and the testimonies of a few of our Village of Promise Families and how their lives have transformed through the power of education.
