On Saturday, October 15, 2022, Girl Scout Troops Number 10664, 10674, 10682, and 10729 at Union Chapel Missionary Baptist Church held their Bridging Ceremony at 10:00 am in the Gymnasium of the Charles Ray Family Life Center. This Girl Scout tradition honors girls’ achievements throughout the year and celebrates their “crossing the bridge” to the next Girl Scout level. For each group level of Scouting, Daisy, Brownie, Ju- nior, Cadette, Senior, and Ambassa- dor participated in the program from the welcome to the closing prayer.
Bronze Awards were presented to Kennedi Brewer, Janeah Collins, Aubrey Holmes, and Deidra McCau- ley. Silver Awards were presented to Daria Andrews, McKenzie McGhee, Maayimuna N’Diaye, Bailey Pinchon,Morgan Scruggs, Gabrielle Smith, Taryn Richardson, and Tori Richardson.
Immediately following the ceremony, the Scouts and their family members were treated to a cookout at the Union Chapel Picnic Pavilion.
