Huntsville, AL – West Mastin Lake Baptist Church hosted an exceptional service to celebrate the Thirty-Fourth Anniversary of Dr. Willie L. Hinton Sr. as Pastor and Dr. Doris Hinton as First Lady. The observance occurred on Sunday, August 25, 2024, at 11:00 A.M. at the church at 4705 Mastin Lake Rd., Huntsville, AL 35810.
Theme: ”Their Labor is Not In Vain” – 1 Corinthians 15:58
The service featured a variety of segments to honor the contributions and dedication of the Hinton family. The order of service was as follows:
- Entrance of Honoree: Rev. Willie Hinton Sr., escorted by Sister Cynthia Sanders
- Entrance of Honoree’s Wife: Sister Doris Hinton, escorted by Brother David Sanders
- Devotional Service: Deacons
- Inspirational Singing: WML Male Choir
- Our Pastor’s Impact: Brother Luther Waites
- Solo: Minister Pat Parker
- Tribute to Dr. Doris Hinton, Our First Lady: Sister Mary Woods
- Offering and Offertory Prayer (Song): Ushers/Deacons
- Inspirational Singing: WML Male Choir
- Introduction of Speaker: Pastor Willie L. Hinton Sr.
The guest speaker for the occasion was Dr. Robert Mullins, Executive Director of the Madison Baptist Association in Huntsville, AL. Dr. Mullins delivered an inspiring message to honor the Hintons’ dedicated service.
The program included a Call to Christian Discipleship and Special Presentations to the Pastor and First Lady. The service concluded with remarks from Pastor Willie L. Hinton Sr. and Dr. Doris Hinton, followed by a Closing Hymn and Benediction.
The West Mastin Lake Baptist Church community welcomed everyone to join in celebrating faith, service, and leadership.
