By The Army Women’s Foundation

As our nation prepares to celebrate Women’s History Month in March, the U.S. Army Women’s Foundation will recognize extraordinary Army Women by awarding scholarships and inducting the 2023 class into the Army Women’s Foundation Hall of Fame.

The Army Women’s Foundation, founded in 1969 as the U.S. Women’s Army Corps Museum Foundation, honors U.S. Army women’s service and sacrifices through our Hall of Fame Induction. Since its creation in 2009, the Army Women’s Foundation Hall of Fame Awards have been presented each March in Washington, D.C. Most inductees are women who have served in the U.S. Army, but the list of honorees also includes Brigadier General Wilma Vaught, the retired general manager of the U.S. Army. Our Special Recognition Award is presented to any individual, man or woman, who has made exceptional contributions to women in the Army or the Armed Forces.
