Looking down from an air-conditioned suite on a recent afternoon, it’s easy to see the potential for concerts at Wicks Family Field at Joe Davis Stadium.
There’s 6,000 or so seats in this former minor league baseball stadium, where major league stars like Mark McGwire and Jose Canseco got their start, which was rebooted as an attractive minor league soccer pitch last year. That capacity expands to around 13,000 with fans on the field.
