Psi Alpha Zeta Chapter History: Chartered February 17, 2010, Psi Alpha Zeta Chater seeks to establish itself as one of the most distinguished graduate chapters in Zeta Phi Beta Sorority Incorporated. Psi Alpha Zeta Chater is committed to upholding Zeta Phi Beta Sorority Incorporated’s founding principles of service, scholarship, sisterhood, and the ideal of Finer Womanhood to advance our sorority’s impact on the world by addressing the concerns of contemporary society in the Madison, Alabama community. It is our vision to work to gain a stronger and more positive presence in Madison, Alabama, allowing us to be change agents for our community by developing a comprehensive scholarship program to provide college scholarships for deserving high school students, increasing our chapter membership, and implementing our national service program Zetas Helping Other People Excel-ZHOPE.
Since its chartering in 2010, the Psi Alpha Zeta Chapter has grown from five (5) members to fifty-two (52) members and counting. Youth auxiliaries, including Pearlettes, Amicettes, and Archonettes, were established in 2021. Over $20,000 in scholarship money has been given from the chapter to deserving high school seniors. The Phenomenal Psi Alpha Zeta Chapter continues to be one of the premier chapters in Zeta Phi Beta Sorority, Incorporated. It will continue to serve the Madison community for years to come.
