Pests made their presence known at several Madison County restaurants in September, according to the latest reports from county health inspectors.
Ten restaurants scored 84 or below on their most recent health inspection, which mean they will receive a repeat visit from the health department within 60 days.
Infractions ranged from food being out of temperature — which puts patrons at risk for food-borne illness — to roaches to gnats and “many flies.”
