Baltimore – Clark Hospitality, co-owner of Papi’s Cuisine, and The Outkrowd Group, co-owners of Blk Swan, have joined forces to create an elevated and exquisite dining destination where sophistication meets culinary mastery, fittingly named Prim and Proper. This dining concept is the first collaboration between the two local powerhouse restaurateurs.

Nestled in the heart of downtown Baltimore City, Prim and Proper invites you to indulge in the

artistry of a French American inspired cuisine, crafted by decorated Executive Chef Calvin Riley.

Accompanying this artful gourmet offering is a wine list meticulously crafted by co-owner and

sommelier Janell Clark that features a wide range of well-known brands and locally sourced

wines that complement the delightful food pairings.

The newly renovated restaurant, designed with the help of local interior designer Elaborate

Designs by Tiffany Marie, boasts an elegant yet chic modern take on a traditional French

esthetic. Then, adding the artistic brilliance of local artist Kid Balloon, the walls come to life

with whimsical portraits featuring his signature balloon caricatures. Diners will be visually

tantalized as well as  soothed by the nostalgic 1980s dance music soundtrack curated by local

DJ’s. It is a perfect place for fashion forward trendsetters, a sophisticated clientele and young

professionals who want a unique dining and social experience. The beautiful, historic and former Merchant Club will also house a members-only social club upstairs, where members can work, host professional meetings and entertain clients during the day. However, during the evenings, the space transforms into a “swaggy” after hours lounge with Baltimore’s top tastemakers, business leaders and culture influencers.
