Black women have the highest death rate from breast cancer, and a recent study suggests that Black women should start screening for breast cancer at an earlier age of 42, compared to white women who could start at age 57, American Indian/Alaska Native and Hispanic women at age 57, and Asian/Pacific Islander women at age 61.
