A Pisgah man has been arrested on child abuse charges.
Quinton Wicks, 44, was arrested Sept. 24 by the Jackson County Sheriff’s Office.
Suspect in murder of Chicago postal worker arrested in Iowa
He was charged with child abuse and endangering the welfare of a child under the age of 18.
According to court documents, Wicks grabbed the child by the throat, and chained and locked her in a bedroom.
He has been released from the Jackson County Jail on $16,000 bond.
According to his bond restrictions, Wicks cannot knowingly go within 1,000 feet of the victim, or have any contact.
