In a recent General Membership meeting held on Thursday, April 11, 2024, Vietnam Veterans of America (VVA) Chapter 1067 in Huntsville, Alabama, welcomed a new slate of officers. The transition marked the end of Charlie Miller’s tenure as President, serving from 2018 to 2024. Miller took a moment to express his gratitude to the chapter for their steadfast support over the past six years.

Stepping into leadership roles are Bobby Langford, Sr., assuming the position of President, followed by Lee Parker as First Vice-President, James Harris as Second Vice-President, Wathan Fielding as Secretary, and Jerry Cox as Treasurer. Outgoing President Miller gracefully conducted the swearing-in ceremony for the newly elected officers.

In appreciation of his dedicated service, the chapter presented Miller with a heartfelt token of gratitude—a plaque commemorating his time as President, an album filled with cherished memories from his six-year tenure, and a golf bag symbolizing his commitment to the chapter.

Membership in the VVA remains open to all veterans who served in any military branch from November 1955 to May 1975, fostering a community of support and camaraderie among those who have served their nation.
