Mayor Brandon M. Scott and Johns Hopkins VP, Alicia Wilson
to Kick-off Small Business Saturday
and Visit Selected Local Businesses
Saturday, November 27, 2021
8:00 a.m. – 12:30 p.m.

Come join Mayor Brandon M. Scott and Alicia Wilson, Vice President of Economic Development, Johns Hopkins University and Johns Hopkins Health System as they kick-off Small Business Saturday. Small Business Saturday is a day to celebrate and support small businesses and all they do for their communities. Small businesses need our support now more than ever as they navigate, retool and pivot from the effects of the coronavirus pandemic. Founded by American Express in 2010 and officially cosponsored by U.S. Small Business Administration since 2011, Small Business Saturday has become an important part of small businesses’ busiest shopping season.

Mayor Scott is encouraging Baltimore City residents to shop small by supporting local businesses from November 27th through December 24th. Share your experience on social media using the hashtag #Bmore2Baltimore.
