One of the stars of the reality television show “Love & Marriage: Huntsville” has been arrested on a domestic violence charge in Madison County.
Martell Holt, 41, was held in the Madison County jail for about three hours Tuesday before posting bond, jail records showed.
He was arrested Tuesday on third-degree domestic violence/harassing communications, according to jail records.
Details about the case were not in state court records as of Tuesday evening.
“Love & Marriage: Huntsville” airs on Oprah Winfrey’s OWN network and “centers around the lives of three high-powered African-American couples who come together to revitalize the thriving city of Huntsville, Alabama through their joint real estate venture, The Comeback Group,” according to the channel’s synopsis.
Holt is “an entrepreneur and the CEO of the Holt Brand” and a Huntsville native who graduated from Alabama A&M University with a degree in education in 2008, according to IMDB.
“Martell and Melody Holt, the most high-profile couple on the show, have dealt with long-term infidelity and been on the verge of divorce,” AL.com reported in 2020.
