HUNTSVILLE, AL)- – After nearly two decades of dedicated service as the Administrative Assistant for Madison County District Six, Jo Miley bid farewell to her colleagues and coworkers on Friday, December 1, 2023. Jo Miley, a native of Dothan, Alabama, started her journey in public service as the right-hand person for the late District Six Commissioner Robert ‘Bob’ Harrison.

Throughout her career, Miley was entrusted with providing administrative support not only to Commissioner Harrison but also to Commissioner JesHenry Malone, who assumed the role after Harrison’s passing. Commissioner Violet Edwardsalsobenefitedfrom Miley’s professionalism and commitment during her tenure.

To commemorate Jo Miley’s retirement, a heartfelt reception was organized at the District Six office on Hi-Lo Circle. The event served as an opportunity for friends, well-wishers, and fellow employees to express their gratitude and appreciation for Miley’s unwavering
