Notice is hereby given that a special election will be held in the City of Madison Alabama on the second (2nd)  Tuesday in May, 2023 (i.e.,  May 9, 2023), to determine whether the City of Madison will adopt the Council-Manager form of Government pursuant to the “Council-Manager Act of 1982,” which is codified as Sections 11-43A-1 through 11-43A-52 of the Code of Alabama (1975).  The following ballot measure will be submitted to the qualified voters of the City of Madison:
