THE HILL | Senior Kalia Walker earned Southwestern Athletic Conference (SWAC) Impact Player of the Week while Senior Lauryn Pendleton earned Newcomer of the Week, the conference announced Wednesday afternoon.  

Walker and Pendleton were both key players in the San Diego Thanksgiving Classic, scoring 38 points, including a season high 24 points in the victory against the host team. Walker is the Bulldogs’ leading scorer, averaging 13.4 points per game.  

Pendleton was a solid performer over the two games, scoring 31 points, picking up five assists and five rebounds, three steals and went 100 percent from the line. She is the Bulldogs’ second-most leading scorer and is in the top three of most assists.  

The Bulldogs will face the  Lindenwood University Lions on Saturday, December 7 at 1 p.m. for their fourth consecutive road competition. Live streaming is available on ESPN+.
