“As the Interim Executive Director, I am honored to work with the Vice President for Research, Dr. Majed Dweik, to move research and economic development to another level of accomplishment by establishing a collaborative environment for interdisciplinarity,” says Jackson.

“I also look forward to my continued work with the extraordinary and dedicated ORSP staff. As a cohesive team we will support faculty and staff members as we work collectively to increase submission of grants, contracts, and funding. We will also strengthen ORSP’s relationship with faculty and staff in an effort to improve the efficiency and expediency of the post-award process,” adds Jackson.

Jackson has a B.S. in Heath Services Management from Norfolk State University, an MBA from Strayer University, and is currently pursuing her D.B.A. at Walden University.
