Mantz Named Interim Dean of AAMU College of Business and Public Affairs

Alabama A&M University announces the appointment of Tim Mantz, DBA as Interim Dean of the College of Business and Public Affairs. Mantz has been a dean for over 14 years at both public and private universities. He most recently was the dean of the school of business and professional studies at Cabrini University, a Catholic University in the Philadelphia area. Tim has extensive experience with both regional and programmatic accreditation, program development, community and business relations and recruitment. 

Dr. Tim Mantz served as Dean of the School of Business at Northern State University in Aberdeen, SD. While there, Mantz developed new graduate programs and led an update and refresh to the school’s curriculum based on local needs and global trends.

Previously, he was Dean of the College of Business at Keiser University in Fort Lauderdale, Fla., where he helped achieve program accreditations and worked with local businesses, schools, and media to increase program awareness and community partnerships.

Mantz earned a Doctor of Business Administration from Argosy University, a Master of Business Administration from the University of Phoenix, and a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Art Direction from Pratt Institute. Tim and his wife Kathy have 3 grown children and a great Dane named Phil
