(HUNTSVILLE, AL) – – In a momentous celebration, Huntsville City Schools officially opened the doors to its newest athletic jewel, the Columbia High School Athletic Complex, during a ribbon-cutting ceremony on Wednesday. The state- of-the-art facility, designed to bolster various sports programs, is a testament to the district’s unwavering commitment to providing premier opportunities for its student-athletes.

The multi-million-dollar complex is set to host wrestling, soccer, and track & field events, providing dedicated spaces for athletes to hone their skills and compete at the highest level. We decided to build a field house to give students more opportunity and access. You see new weight equipment to make them more competitive on the field. We want our students to experience everything on a premier level right here at Columbia High School,” Dr. Sutton remarked.
