Huntsville Bible College (HBC) held its 29th Vision Banquet on Friday, June 3, 2022, at the East. Hall of the Von Braun Center. This year’s banquet was the first in-person banquet for HBC since the start of the COVID pandemic. Seating was limited to four persons per table.
Rev. Dr. Oscar Montgomery, Sr., served as the Master of Ceremonies. Speaker for the occasion was Rev. Dr. John R. Faison, Sr., Pastor of the Watson Grove Baptist Church in Nashville and Franklin, Tennessee. Mr. LeviticusThomas provided instrumental music, and Ms. Megan Humphrey provided vocal music. This year HBC honored Spiritual Leaders in the Church and Community. Honorees were Indian Creek P. B. Church (Partner of the Year), Dr. Elizabeth Richardson (Alumnus of the Year), Mr. Bobby McDonald, Dr. Denver Betts (Volunteers of the Year), Mr. Mack Ford (Christian Education Leadership Award), Bishop Mattie Gaines-Williams (Clergy Leadership Award), Mr. Bernard Simelton (Community Leadership Award), Mr. Jeffrey Massey (Deacon Ministry Leadership Award), Ms. Eunice Townsend (Outreach Ministry Leadership Award), Ms. Helen King Drake (Service Leadership Award), and Mr. Nero Tucker (Youth Ministry Leadership Award).
Rev. Dr. John Clay, HBC President, gave HBC Reflections and remarks. Mr. and Mrs. Victor, Melanie Blade, and PineGroveM.B.Church members served as Vision Banquet General Chairpersons.
