A campaign is getting underway in Huntsville that has nothing to do with the municipal elections later this month.

Huntsville Animal Services has launched an “Elect to Adopt, Not Shop” campaign in an effort to alleviate overcrowding at the animal shelter on Triana Boulevard. It is part of the national “Clear the Shelters” campaign.
