Wrap-around health services will be offered in conjunction with COVID-19 vaccines and boosters on Saturday, May 14, 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.at the Parkview Education Center, 44327 Fig Avenue in Lancaster.

The free event is hosted by the California Association of African American Superintendents and Administrators (CAAASA) in partnership with Albertsons, Bartz and the Lancaster School District.

“We recognize the importance of early detection of health problems, which is why we are offering free Hypertension screenings and glucose checks, in connection with our vaccination program,” said Al Bonds, CAAASA’s coordinator of health outreach programs.   “Additionally, individuals with limited resources may be eligible to enroll on-site, in SNAP, WIC and Medi-Cal programs.”

To register for a vaccination appointment, residents may go to www.caaasa.org
