AAMU Raising Over $120,000 During Giving Tuesday Event
Alabama A&M University alumni, students, faculty, staff, and friends raised over $120,000 during the annual worldwide #GivingTuesday event. The fundraising success was fueled by over 100 individual donors and several major contributions.
“We are continuing to build momentum toward the celebration of our University’s 150th anniversary in 2025,” said Vice President Jamal Ali. “The philanthropic support we’ve seen throughout 2023 has been an encouraging signal to the commitment the AAMU family has to truly reimagining the things we can do as we support the University at new levels.”
This year’s Giving Tuesday totals mark a nearly $100,000 increase over the $29,187 raised by the Alabama A&M during the 2022 event.
“We’re extremely thankful for the continued support and look forward to growing that support even more in the years to come,” said Ali.
