On Sept. 17 at 3:30 p.m. members of Freedom Temple AME Zion Church rededicated their cornerstone. The event took place at the church, located at 2926 Hollins Ferry Road in Baltimore. There, Bishop W. Darin Moore, of the Mid-Atlantic Episcopal District, preached at the ceremony for the church, which was founded by Rev. Dr. Frances “Toni” Draper, who currently serves as AFRO CEO and publisher.

In March 2015, leaders of Freedom Temple A.M.E Zion
Church purchased the property located at 2926 Hollins
Ferry Road and held a cornerstone dedication ceremony.
On Sept. 17 congregants rededicated their cornerstone with a special service. -
