On Jan. 31, Cheslie Kryst, who has crowned Miss USA in 2019, died at the age of 30 after falling from her 29th story Manhattan apartment, The Orion.  According to the New York City Officer of Chief Medical Examiner, Kryst’s death has been ruled a suicide. 

Kryst was on the track team and studied law at the University of South Carolina. She also held a Juris Doctor and Master of Business Administration degree from Wake Forest University and she practiced law. People also got to know her in her role as a correspondent for the tv show, “Extra.”
