HUNTSVILLE, Ala.— Drake State Community & Technical College will hold its first Celebration of Scholars event, hosted by the Drake State Foundation.
The elegant evening is set to take place on Friday, Oct. 18, 2024, from 7 to 9 PM at the Regions Center, located at 200 Clinton Ave W, 11th Floor, Huntsville, AL 35801.
The event will bring together the college’s community of supporters, including generous donors and accomplished scholarship recipients, for an evening of engaging conversations and community warmth. Cocktail attire is required, where attendees celebrate students’ achievements and the incredible contributions that make their success possible.
“The Celebration of Scholars is a testament to the power of community and generosity,” said Drake State President Dr. Patricia Sims. “It’s a night where we not only honor those who have made a profound impact on our students’ lives but also celebrate the bright futures that these scholarships help to create.”
The Celebration of Scholars aims to foster a sense of community, gratitude, and inspiration, encouraging further support and engagement with the Drake State Foundation. It is an opportunity for the college to express its deep appreciation for the donors who make scholarships possible and highlight the students’ achievements who benefit from their generosity.
