Drake State Community and Technical College held a groundbreaking for their new Advanced Man- ufacturing Center on Friday, June 9, 2023, at 10:00 a.m. According to the college, the 50,000-square- foot facility will support the aerospace and advanced manufacturing industries and house the most in- demand training programs, including engineering design and mechatronics.

The construction of the new building is scheduled to be completed by Fall 2024. Dr. Patricia Sims is the President of Drake State Community and Technical College.
