While the continued COVID-19 pandemic and challenges associated has had people stressing out, one of the Original Kings of Comedy is coming to the D.M.V to offer laughter as an antidote.  DL Hughley will be at Capital One Hall, 7750 Capital One Tower Rd. Tysons, VA, on Friday, Oct. 22 at 7 p.m.

Although Hughley is a television, film and radio star, as well as renowned author, working on his fifth book (How to Survive America) standup comedy is his first love.

“From the minute I first walked onstage and picked up a microphone,” Hughley said, “I knew that it was what I was meant to do.”

Hughley’s work with stand up continues to propel him, producing specials for Netflix, Showtime and HBO, and his current 11th stand up special, “DL Hughley: Contrarian,” is currently available on Netflix.

The performance at Capital One Hall will take place in the Main Theater.  Guests over the age of 12 are required to show proof of full vaccination (the last dose administered 14 days before entering the Hall) or a negative COVID test (up to 48 hours before the performance).  Tickets start at $59.75.  For ticket information visit: www.captialonehall.com/event/d-l-hughley
