Costco has announced the recall of two food items.

The retailer has issued a recall for Kodiak Power Waffles and Rock River Cattle Co. Smokey Hibachi Seasoned Beef Skirt Steak.

According to an announcement from Costo, Kodiack Cakes, LLC has initiated a voluntary recall of certain boxes of the Kodiak Powe Waffles, Buttermilk & Vanilla 40 count package due to the potential presence of soft plastic film. The recalled products have a UPC code of 705599019203 and a “Sell By” date of Jan. 10, 2026.

Skylark Meats, LLC, the manufacturer of Rock River Cattle Co, has initiated a voluntary recall of the Smokey Hibachi Skirt Steaks, due to allergen ingredients missing from the label. According to an announcement from the company, the product contains soy, wheat and sesame. The potential risk is limited only to consumers with a soy, wheat, or sesame allergy or sensitivity. There have been no reported adverse reactions due to the consumption of these products. The recalled items have a “Sell-By” date of Sept. 13, 2024.
