Partner with Children Read Succeed – Children’s Defense Fund (CDF) Freedom Schools today! Engaging and rewarding for the whole entire family, it’s a truly fun & unique learning experience…“there’s no school like FREEDOM SCHOOL .” Local schools, community, or faith-based organizations can expand their community outreach efforts by participating in a multicultural & intergeneral literacy-centered enrichment program that’s backed by national research. Children Read Succeed (CRS), a local non-profit organization focused on youth development with the goal of ensuring that every child in our community, regardless of ethnicity, religious beliefs, or socio- economic status, will be afforded the opportunity to experience a vibrant life of literacy in safe and engaging spaces, has joined the CDF Freedom Schools movement as an official Children’s Defense Fund partner organization.
Parents, families, educators, non-profits, or anyone who cares about our children’s future and understands the importance of them being able to read on grade level by 3rd grade to avoid the risk of being held back will definitely want to join this movement. In partnership with community-based organization, faith institution, schools, colleges, universities sities, homeless shelters, and juvenile detention centers, the flexible CDF Freedom Schools program boosts student motivation to read, generates positive attitudes toward learning, and connects the needs of children and families to resources in their com- munities. We’re initiating this movement with the help of some very special folks and organizations just like you, and we look forward to hearing from you.
