This immersive summer internship empowers HBCU students to create meaningful content that reflects their community’s values and stories.
Selected Fellows will receive a $10,000 scholarship, an $8,000 stipend, and hands-on experience crafting brand-focused digital content and articles. DTU Fellows are rewarded with career-advancing mentorship, industry guidance, and access to a network of media professionals.

DTU: The Roadmap to Your Future in Media
Chevrolet and the National Newspaper Publishers Association (NNPA) invite 10 exceptional HBCU students to chart The Roadmap through the Discover the Unexpected (DTU) Fellowship—a paid summer internship designed to elevate the next generation of storytellers, media professionals and marketers.
Selected Fellows will work with historic NNPA newspapers and media professionals to craft compelling content, article writing, videography, photography, and digital production.
