The Baltimore City Democratic State Central Committee is presently accepting resumes to fill two (2) vacancies for Central Committee Members in the 43rd Legislative District. Both vacancies are for full voting members of the 43rd District Democratic State Central Committee.
- Applicants should possess the following qualifications:
- Be a registered Democratic voter in the State of Maryland; and
- Be a resident of the 43rd Legislative District.
- To apply, applicants should send a resume (attached as a PDF) to baltimorecitydems@gmail.com and indicate District 43 in the email subject line.
- Resumes must be received via email by no later than 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday, October 19, 2021 for consideration.
Interviews will be on Thursday, October 21, 2021 and conducted virtually on Zoom beginning at 6:00 PM. Applicants will be notified of their specific interview times. Interviews are open to the public to view and will be livestreamed on the Baltimore City Democratic State Central Committee Facebook page (https://www.facebook.com/baltimorecitydems).
The five (5) voting members of the 43rd Legislative District will vote publicly after all interviews have concluded to fill the vacancy.

Description of Position:
This volunteer position offers the opportunity to build the Democratic Party in Baltimore City, increase voter turnout and register voters. In addition, in the event of a state delegate and/or senate vacancy, the full voting member will vote to fill the vacancy. The individual selected is expected to attend monthly Baltimore City Central Committee meetings, Maryland Democratic Party meetings, and participate in Central Committee activities. Central Committee members are the grassroots volunteers of the Maryland Democratic Party.
