Speakin’ Out News is elated to announce our new legal columnist, Attorney Raven Perry-Beach. She is the founding and managing attorney of Beach Law Practice in Huntsville. Her primary practice areas include bankruptcy, probate and estate planning, personal injury, and Veterans law. Serving throughout Alabama and Tennessee for nearly 20 years, she prides herself in advocating for veterans and assisting people in navigating the complexities of bankruptcy.
Access to fair and affordable judicial council has always been at the heart of Ms. Perry-Beach. Her commitment to the community is overwhelmingly evident. Having served on the board of directors of the Madison County Volunteer Lawyers Program beginning in 2017, she made history when the board named her the first Black president of the organization in 2021. She also hosts a free expungement clinic every quarter, helping people get a new lease on life.
In 2024, Perry-Beach was sworn in as a part-time municipal court judge. Among her notable awards, she has been named Female Entrepreneur of the Year by The Catalyst Center for Business & Entrepreneurship and Attorney of the Year by the Alabama NAACP.
“I’m thrilled for the opportunity to work with Speakin’ Out News. My entire career, I’ve sought opportunities to educate the community on legal matters that impact their everyday lives,” said Perry-Beach. “I am honored to continue serving in this added capacity.”
