A search is underway for a man and woman accused in the Dothan killing of a 54-year-old man.

Courtney Ingram, 33, and Richard Bishop Jr., 31, are charged with murder in the death Patrick Parrish. They are considered armed and dangerous.

Dothan police Lt. Scott Owens said officers and investigators discovered Parrish’s body after a welfare check was conducted May 8 at his home the 1300 block of Coe Dairy Road. An unusual amount of time had passed without anyone hearing from Parrish.

When officers arrived on scene, they noticed a foul odor coming from the area of the home, Owens said.

Officers tried to make contact by knocking on the door but there was no answer.

A short time later, officers located Parrish’s body under the home. The positioning of the body was indicative of foul play, and investigators were called to the scene.

A cause of death has not yet been determined.

While processing the crime scene, Owens said, investigators noticed the victim’s pick-up truck was missing.

They learned that Parrish had last been seen with Ingram and Bishop before his death and were seen leaving in the victim’s vehicle.

The truck was later found in Eufaula.

Bishop is 6-feet, 2-inches tall and weighs 165 pounds. He is bald with brown eyes.

Ingram is 5-feet, 7-inches tall and weighs 150 pounds. She has blonde hair and green eyes.

Both were last seen in Eufaula and could be in Georgia.

“Our thoughts are with the family of Patrick Parrish as they begin to cope with this family loss,’’ Owens said.

Anyone with information is asked to call Dothan police at 335-615-3000 or 911.
