Community Collaborative is comprised of several organizations throughout the Huntsville/Madison County community, whose purpose is to make sure voters are informed and prepared for the upcoming General Election (November 8, 2022).

The primary focus of the Madison County Vote Community Collaborative Project is to make the community aware that “slavery” is on the ballot. According to the coordinator, Angela Curry, there will be ten amendments to be voted upon state-wide. One of these amendments will address removing the language and the laws related to slavery in the Alabama Constitution. “If you want to have an impact, as it relates to slavery or anti-slavery, make it to the polls in November. This is the time for our voices to be heard,” Curry said.
