To support the initiatives of the American Legion. To foster patriotism and responsible citizenship. To award scholarships and promote quality education and literacy.”

On Thursday, April 18, 2004, American Legion Auxiliary members elected new officers to lead the upcoming journey. Outgoing President Muriel Tucker did an extraordinary job during her tenure and the Unit will continue the mission. The incoming president, Beatrice Baker, promises to continue to carry on the work and legacy of the previous administration. The members are excited about the upcoming year and their role in serving the community.
