Earlier: State authorities have issued an emergency missing child alert for an 11-year-old girl last seen on Saturday in Tallahassee.
According to information provided by the Alabama Law Enforcement Agency, the Tallahassee Police Department is asking for help in locating Jaycee Alexandra Gaines. She was last seen at about 2:30 p.m. at a McDonald’s restaurant. The girl was wearing a gray short-sleeved shirt, black leggings and black-and-white sandals, and carrying a pink purse.
She is described as standing 5 feet 6 inches tall, weighing 105 pounds, with black hair and brown eyes.
Jaycee is believed to be accompanied by her non-custodial mother, Natasha Johnson, traveling in a 2013‐2017 white Hyundai Sonata, law enforcement officials said.
