The Alabama School of Cyber Technology and Engineering (ASCTE), located at 229 Wynn Drive in Huntsville, Alabama (the southeast corner of Bradford Drive and Wynn Drive in Cummings Research Park), held its ribbon-cutting ceremony for the new ASCTE campus. The event was held on Friday, September 23, 2022, at 9:30 a.m.

The school is the nation’s only high school focused on integrating cyber technology and engineering into all academic disciplines. Alabama Governor Kay Ivey signed ACT2018-480 in 2018, establishing ASCTE. In Augus 2020, the first 70 freshmen and sophomore students started attending at the temporary location of ASCTE on the campus of Oakwood University, about two miles north of the 26-acre campus permanent home.
