HUNTSVILLE, AL – Alabama A&M University has selected Freedom Real Estate and Capital to provide advisory services for constructing two cutting-edge facilities—the new Science Building and Student Amenities Building. These projects, valued at over $140 million, will redefine the university’s campus and enhance the student experience.

Freedom Real Estate and Capital will oversee the general contractor, design team, and construction process, prioritizing the university’s best interests throughout the development.

“We are thrilled to partner with Alabama A&M University again through our advisory services in construction management,” said Tyce Hudson, Freedom Project Director. “This collaboration underscores our shared commitment to innovation and excellence, creating a lasting impact on the campus.”

About the New Facilities

• Science Building: Spanning 125,000 square feet, this facility will feature modern classrooms and laboratories for the Physics, Biology, and Chemistry departments. It will support Alabama A&M’s expanding STEM programs and foster academic and scientific innovation.

• Student Amenities Building: Covering 93,000 square feet, this hub for student engagement will offer dining facilities, study areas, meeting spaces, a gaming lounge, and social areas. Designed to accommodate growing enrollment, it will provide a vibrant environment for learning and social development.
